You must have your own network card
If you don't have your own, borrow one for the event. :)
Please make sure that you have ALL the requisite information and drivers for your network
card. We don't mind helping someone new set up, but having to sit and guess port addresses
is no fun for anyone.
People who constantly arrive at FRAG lans with their network card
unconfigured properly (ie they are people who keep asking for help all the time at each
and every event) will be ignored. We expect you to know how to configure your own
card.
You must bring your own Network cable.
FRAG will not provide you with a patch cable to hook you to the
network. You must bring your own UTP cat.5 type cable - approx 2-5 metres depending
on where you want to sit. FRAG will be selling cables for a small charge.
Limit 1 per customer.
You must bring your own multiboxes and powercords.
We are sick of supplying that junk on the night. We provide the outlets (there's 10
of them on their own circuits) You provide your own extensions.

FRAG members $5
Everyone else on the planet $10

Security.
We pay university security to stay on outside campus hours.
The LAN.
Mostly UTP. (COAX available on request.)
Hubs uplinked to an etherswitch.
TCP/IP with server assigned IP addresses.
